A Card

Hello all! I just thought I would post a card I made last night! I am still getting the hang of making cards. I tend to be a perfectionist on this as well as my scrapbook layouts, therefore it takes me longer than it really should to create! I would love to be able to crank them out as fast as my friend Bonnie does, but I am just happy with what I am able to do right now! I have a few others and will add them later! For this card, I used the a couple of stamps from the April KOTM from Unity. It is an awesome deal if you love stamps, which I do!

  3. look at those cute little people on there!

hey, otb is "on the border"...tex-mex restaurant. if you asked me that when i still lived back home in ny, i would have told you it stood for "off track betting" (horse races without actually being at the track). we didn't have on the border up there, so when i moved down here and people kept saying they were going to get mexican at otb, i kept thinking, "huh, they serve tex-mex at those places?"

    i know, i'm a dork ;) have a great week!

  4. Great card! And it's ok to be a perfectionist. And the truth is...even with us perfectionists...the more we do it the faster things seem to go. People are surprised by how quickly I make things now, but I used to take a long time with everything (and there was a lot less work involved)!

  6. Hi Angela! Found your blog over at the Shimmerz Challlenge.

I've been making cards for quite a few years and still can't make them very fast. I don't care though. The fun is in the creating.

I Love the simplicity of your card. The image is perfect for this! Just feels sweet!
